AN EVENING WITH ELLIOTT ERWITT

Co-presented by the International Center of Photography. Elliott Erwitt belongs to the photography pantheon, known for his portraits (Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Kennedy) and witty depictions of everyday life. He was recently honored with a retrospective at the International Center of Photography. Tonight we celebrate his lesser-known forays directing documentary film, presenting 3 shorts: The Many Faces of Dustin Hoffman (1968); Beauty Knows No Pain (1971); and Red, White and Bluegrass (1973); plus Elliott Erwitt: I Bark at Dogs, a new short profile by Douglas Sloan.
