MEET THE DOC NYC SHORT LIST – FREE

The day before the festival officially begins, meet the filmmakers behind some of this year’s most impressive documentaries, chosen for the DOC NYC Short List. Often docs are discussed for their subject matter. This panel will focus on the artistry of doc-making, moderated by programmer Thom Powers, with the makers of 20 Feet From Stardom, The Act of Killing, Blackfish, The Crash Reel, Dirty Wars, First Cousin Once Removed, Gideon’s Army, and God Loves Uganda.

*Admission to this event is free, and seating is guaranteed for all Insider Pass holders up to 15 min. before showtime. Available tickets will be distributed at the box office on a first come, first served basis, starting one hour before showtime.
