Maya Mumma, ACE, was an editor on the Academy Award winning documentary O.J.: Made in America for which she was honored with a Best Editing award from the LA Film Critics Association, an ACE Eddie, and a Primetime Emmy. She began her career in the edit room of the Academy Award nominated documentary Restrepo, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. She has gone on to edit such films as Which Way Is the Front Line From Here, Whoopi Goldberg Presents Moms Mabley, the Peabody Award winning Mr. Dynamite: The Rise of James Brown, A Journey of a Thousand Miles, the Emmy winning King in the Wilderness, the Emmy and Peabody Award winning True Justice: Bryan Stevenson’s Fight for Equality, and the Emmy nominated Obama: In Pursuit of a More Perfect Union. She has mentored for the Firelight Media Documentary Lab, the Open City Documentary Festival Assembly Lab, the TFI/A&E IndieFilms StoryLab, the Sundance Art of Editing Fellowship, and the Chicken & Egg Pictures (Egg)celerator Lab. She is the current president of the Karen Schmeer Film Editing Fellowship.

Christopher White has been a film editor and story consultant of numerous award-winning films for over twenty years. His films have premiered at The Sundance Film Festival, The Tribeca Film Festival, The New York Film Festival, SXSW, DocNYC and The Toronto Film Festival, and have been presented on most of the major broadcasters and streamers. His latest film, American Doctor, premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival and is currently being shown around the world at numerous film festivals. Other recent projects include The Lincoln Project, a five-part series streaming on Showtime/Paramount+; Born To Be, which premiered at the 2019 New York Film Festival, and received a Best Documentary Emmy Nomination in 2021, and The Innocence Files, currently streaming on Netflix. In 2018, Roll Red Roll premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and was the season opener for the 2018 season of POV on PBS. White was the editor and co-director of Love Free or Die, which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, winning the Special Jury Prize. Other films include The Killer Within (as editor and co-director) which premiered at the 2006 Toronto Film Festival and was nominated for a 2008 Best Documentary Emmy; Hard Road Home, (Best Documentary Emmy Nomination in 2009); Women In Blue, (Independent Lens 2021); and Family Name, his first film as editor, winning the Freedom of Expression Award at the Sundance Film Festival in 1997. Chris is a member of ACE (American Cinema Editors).

Flavia de Souza began her career in post-production in New York in the 1990s, working across reality television, institutional media, and news before focusing primarily on documentary film over the past 15 years. Her recent work includes Razing Liberty Square (2025 News & Documentary Emmy nominee) and Aftershock (2022 Sundance Impact for Change Special Jury Award and Peabody winner), as well as the Oscar-shortlisted short Rovina’s Choice and Lost in the Jungle, which premiered at Telluride.

She became a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2024 and received the 2026 Sundance Institute / Adobe Mentorship Award for Nonfiction. A mentor with the Karen Schmeer Fellowship, The Video Consortium, and Brown Girls Doc Mafia, she holds an MFA in Photography and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts.

Deijah Lee-Carroll is a Teaneck-grown editor dedicated to amplifying marginalized voices and centering love and care in her work. She has worked as an editor on docuseries including Top Class: The Life and Times of the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers and America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.  Her assistant editor credits include Ezra Edelman’s unreleased Prince documentary and Coach Emily. She is a proud member of the Asian American Documentary Network and BIPOC Doc Editors, and was a 2024-2025 Karen Schmeer Film Editing Fellow. When she is not editing, she spends her time catching pop flies and turning circles at contemporary art museums.

Stefanie Maridueña is an ACE Eddie and Emmy nominated television editor based in NYC. Her latest credits include America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and Reality Check: Inside America's Next Top Model on Netflix. She prides herself for her ability to bring an empathetic lens to the edit and ensuring a story is told with clarity and creativity. Through her work, she aims to accurately represent varying perspectives while exposing the challenges affecting different communities. 

Zachary Fuhrer is a Peabody Award-winning and Emmy-nominated film editor and creative producer. His recent credits include Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, The Clubhouse: A Year with the Red Sox, Wrestlers, Last Chance U: Basketball and Cheer for Greg Whiteley’s One Potato Productions; Grammy-nominated Kings from Queens: The Run DMC Story for Peacock; Marines for Netflix; and VICE for Showtime. Fuhrer started his career at Kyle Cooper’s Prologue Films, collaborating on title sequences for films including World War Z and Pain and Gain, before transitioning to long-form editing under the guidance of Jim Helton (Blue Valentine, The Place Beyond the Pines, Roofman).
