Scenes from the Divide

In the lead-up to Zohran Mamdani’s election as NYC mayor, many Jewish community members found themselves divided over the candidate’s positions on Palestine and Israel. Inviting viewers into the homes of New Yorkers on both sides of the campaign, DOC NYC alumna Alison Klayman (Jagged, Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry) reveals a fierce battle among American Jews over identity, history, and responsibility.

The first screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Alison Klayman and producer Courtney Powell.

All in-person screening venues provide sound amplification headphones upon request with venue management. IFC Center can also provide a T-Coil loop for compatible devices.
