Back by popular demand, grant expert Tracie Holder will lead a two-part online workshop centered on grant writing as a strategic tool for moving a documentary project forward.

Writing isn’t only for funding, it’s a way to clarify your artistic vision, strengthen your story development, and communicate your film’s core ideas so readers can fully imagine the project. These two 90-minute sessions focus on approaching grants with clarity and intention, building confidence in your fundraising and proposal‑writing by offering a grounded roadmap to get started. The workshop will also help demystify U.S. funding and support you as you navigate a highly competitive landscape.

The goal of this workshop is to support you in weaving fundraising and proposal development into your creative practice so that writing becomes the first step in moving your current and future projects forward.
