NYC PREMIERE Celebrated Algerian French filmmaker Rachid Bouchareb examines colonialism’s effects through the untold story of French atomic bomb testing in the Algerian desert. Using fascinating archival footage, he subtly makes the point that imperialism never changes its ways, bringing into focus similar events happening today. – Murtada Elfadl
The first screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Rachid Bouchareb and producer Bilal Bouchareb.
