NORTH AMERICAN PREMIERE Sand, the world’s second-most exploited resource, is at the center of an opaque trade reshaping Southeast Asia. This environmental documentary traces the journey from Vietnam’s eroding Mekong Delta to Singapore’s rising skyscrapers, creating a striking portrait of development’s human and ecological costs. Chilling and well-shot, it makes an urgent crisis tangible. – Murtada Elfadl
