But Enough is more than a bio-doc—it is a purposeful and focused work of social justice and how Black communities overcome. - Murtada Elfadl

US PREMIERE As the full-scale invasion of Ukraine continues, Ukrainian women who have survived sexual assaults by Russian soldiers recount their stories of trauma. In the act of bearing witness, filmmakers Alisa Kovalenko and Marysia Nikitiuk wisely choose to focus on the act of recalling, finding juxtaposing imagery that heightens the importance of the storytellers’ words and memories. Traces is an astonishing testament to resilience and the solidarity of women finding the courage to move forward through mutual support. – Jaie Laplante
