For a perennial panorama of the world, take a close look at our International Perspectives section. Through the diversity of our international program, you can travel to China, Cuba, Mexico and many more places.

In the World Premiere of All Rise, (pictured) directors Jay Shapiro and Jeffrey Saunders explores the Jessup, a prestigious simulated court competition that brings together the international leaders of the future. Areej Alragabi and Tomer Treger, two of the students who entered the competition, will be on hand to answer questions along with the film directors.

If you’re looking to understand Russia, Bolshoi Babylon is a good place to start. This visually stunning work, backed by HBO Documentary Films, takes us inside the Bolshoi’s world of great artistry and intense rivalry in the dramatic year after an acid attack on its leader. While one of the company members is brought to trial for the attack, we witness a power struggle behind the scenes for control of the company.  Director Nick Read and co-director Mark Franchetti will join us for the DOC NYC premiere
