NYC PREMIERE Eccentric heiress Yolanda Signorelli von Braunhut stewards the legacy of Sea-Monkeys, the 1960s-era children’s curiosity developed by her late husband. With a toy conglomerate hoping to wrest control from her grasp, von Braunhut fights back while hoping to bring the aquatic novelty back into the public consciousness. Unraveling the twisted personal machinations of founder Harold von Braunhut, the film considers how even the most unassuming plaything can have an inexplicable past. – Brandon Harrison
