JOE FRAZIER: WHEN THE SMOKE CLEARS

Bookmark and Share

They say Philadelphia is the capital of boxing, and Joe Frazier’s gym is the White House. For over forty years, and long after his million-dollar bouts with Muhammad Ali and others, Frazier’s dedication has kept this landmark gym alive. Now it has to close. This film reveals an unknown side of Frazier, from his roots in South Carolina’s Gullah community to his international fame as a sports icon to his commitment to his adopted home of Philadelphia.

NOTE: First screening is sold-out.  Two new screenings have been added on Thurs. Nov. 10 at 1pm and 8:15pm.
