IFC Center
DOC NYC‘s principal location is in Greenwich Village’s IFC Center (on Sixth Avenue at West Third Street).
IFC is easily accessible by subway:
– A/B/C/D/E/F/M trains to W. 4th St./Washington Square
– 1 train to the Christopher St./Sheridan Square.
SVA Theatre
DOC NYC also screens in the heart of Chelsea at the School of Visual Arts Theatre (at 333 West 23rd Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).
SVA is easily accessible by mass transit:
– C/E train to 23rd Street (at Eighth Avenue)
– 1 train to 23rd Street (at Seventh Avenue) – F or PATH (from New Jersey) (at Sixth Avenue) – Downtown M11 bus on Ninth Avenue – Uptown M20 bus on Eight Avenue – Crosstown M23 bus (stops at Eighth and Ninth Avenues)
Village East by Angelika
New for 2023, DOC NYC will hold film screenings and the DOC NYC PRO program at Village East by Angelika (at 181-189 2nd Avenue, between 11th and 12th Streets).
Village East by Angelika is accessible by mass transit:
– L train to 3rd Avenue or 1st Avenue (on 14th Street)
– F train to 2nd Avenue (at East Houston Street)
– M15 and M15-SBS buses (Uptown and Downtown) on 2nd Avenue
Bar Veloce (East Village)
New for 2023, DOC NYC’s Festival Lounge will be held at Bar Veloce (at 175 2nd Avenue, between 11th and 12th Streets), open to festival badge holders (space permitting) and will include daily breakfasts and Happy Hours from November 9-16.
