Daniel Shepard Head of TV / Film & Director of Strategy, Mighty Oak

Daniel Shepard is the Head of TV/Film & Director of Strategy at Mighty Oak. For 8 years, Daniel worked for the Emmy Award-winning series, Inside the Actors Studio, where he produced over 60 episodes. In 2012 he created the animated series Chicks on a Bench (MTV) and Swimming Lessons (Above Average, Hulu) before co-founding the animation company Cartuna in 2015 where he served as Head of Animation & Development for 4 years and produced over 30 animated digital series for SYFY, IFC, Comedy Central, Topic, Facebook Watch and Quibi — culminating in an Annie nomination for Best TV Production. His film credits include Penny Lane’s Nuts! (Sundance, Amazon), Aaron Augenblick’s The Adventures of Drunky, and the Emmy-nominated documentary Being Mary Tyler Moore (HBO).
