Lina Lyte Plioplyte Filmmaker, Director of Filmmakers' Accelerator

Lina Lyte Plioplyte, Emmy, Clio and Silver Lion winning Lithuanian-born filmmaker, started her documentary journey in New York City, working for NYLON magazine. For the last 12 years, she has made documentaries, commercials, and short films, showcasing her work on MTV, MSNBC, PBS, Venice Biennale, and at film festivals like SxSW and IDFA. Her feature length films include Advanced Style now on Amazon and Periodical, a documentary on menstruation produced by XTR, now streaming on Peacock. An Emmy-recognized cinematographer, Lina is dedicated to inclusivity, supporting women and minorities in filmmaking, and runs quarterly Filmmakers’ Accelerators, guiding filmmakers to success in this dynamic documentary landscape.
