Sian-Pierre Regis is the director of the critically-acclaimed documentary, Duty Free (Independent Lens). Prior to filmmaking, SP was a on-camera journalist (CNN/MTV), covering the intersection of pop-culture and social justice. His latest project Raising Adults chronicles the moment you’re “called to parent your parent”; it was featured on the cover of the NYTimes Sunday Business section in August 2025, and will be released in 2026.
