MERCEDES SOSA: THE VOICE OF LATIN AMERICA (DIR: RODRIGO H. VILA)

GERALDINE FERRARO: PAVING THE WAY (DIR: DONNA ZACCARO)

NYC Premiere. In 1984, Congresswoman Geraldine Ferraro made history when she was tapped by Walter Mondale to be his running mate. As the first-ever female vice-presidential candidate, she became an inspiring symbol, demonstrating that women could and should strive for political leadership. Through interviews and rare archival footage, director Donna Zaccaro, Ferraro’s daughter, reveals the path her NYC-raised mother took into public service, how her vice-presidential nomination catalyzed the Democrats and their Republican foes, and her lasting legacy on American politics. - Select the number of Senior tickets (limit 4 discounted tickets per purchase. Must select “Senior” ticket for full discount to apply. DOC NYC will honor all senior tickets purchased by AARP members regardless of their age.)
- Check the “Yes, I would like to apply a promotional code or a MovieTickets.com gift card.” and click “Continue” at the bottom of the page
- On the next page, enter the promotional code you received in your AARP email blast and press the ‘ADD’ button.
- On the next page, press the ‘CONTINUE’ button.
- Fill in the Checkout Options on the next page and follow the steps to complete the purchase.
- VERY IMPORTANT: To retrieve your tickets, you MUST bring the emailed confirmation number from your purchase to the box office

In-person tickets
AARP members can also purchase advance tickets in person by showing their AARP card and a photo ID at the box office located at the IFC Center in Greenwich Village (323 Sixth Ave. New York, NY 10013) from Thurs. Oct. 17th until the day before the show. Day-of-show tickets are available in person at the SVA Theatre box office (333 W 23rd St New York, NY 10011).
