Sierra Urich is an Iranian-American award-winning filmmaker and interdisciplinary visual artist. Her first feature, Joonam, world premiered in competition at 2023 Sundance Film Festival, and won the Nesnadny + Schwartz Portrait Documentary Award at Cleveland International Film Festival, and the Jury Award for Best Documentary Feature at Bentonville Film Festival. She works professionally as an editor and nonfiction director.
