Mars Verrone 2025 U.S. Competition Jury

Mars Verrone is a filmmaker, musician, and educator. Their first feature as a producer, UNION, premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, where it won a special jury award, and was shortlisted for an Oscar. As producer, Mars received a Cinema Eye Honors Award for “Outstanding Achievement in Production.” Mars has been awarded fellowships with Sundance Institute, NBC Original Voices, the Producers Guild of America, Firelight Media, and Brown Girls Doc Mafia.
