DOC NYC PRO WINTER 2026

New offerings and redesigned experiences! Led by Malikkah Rollins, DOC NYC’s Director of Industry and Education, welcome to DOC NYC PRO Winter 2026. We offer two new sessions designed to help documentary filmmakers think strategically about the year ahead.

THE FESTIVAL STRATEGY PLAYBOOK: this five‑week, self‑paced class (March 4–April 1) combines flexible learning with weekly live discussions, offering practical insight into how filmmakers can navigate the festival landscape with intention.

Tickets are $75 ($60 for IFC Center members) and are non-refundable.

The Festival Strategy Playbook

THE 2026 VISION AND STRATEGY WORKSHOP: offered on February 26 or March 7, creates space to step back, clarify goals, and thoughtfully plan next steps for your creative and professional work. Through focused conversation and practical strategy exercises, participants leave with clearer priorities and an actionable plan for the year ahead. We will help to answer the question: If you could make one clear decision about your creative path this year, what would it be, and what’s been getting in the way?

Tickets are $50 ($40 for IFC Members) and are non-refundable.
