DOC NYC PRO Pitch Days are a dynamic two-day live pitch event for documentary filmmakers, where 18 selected teams showcase their works-in-progress on stage for expert feedback. AJH Films returns as our partner and will provide a grand prize of $6,000 to a winning project. We are also excited to launch a new Audience Award which provides a package of consultation services.
Taking place live in NYC on Thursday, November 13 and Saturday, November 15, this program offers a unique platform for filmmakers to engage directly with prominent figures in distribution, financing, publicity, marketing, social impact, and beyond. It aims to curate promising documentaries of the future for industry consideration and select projects from a competitive pool of online submissions.
Submissions close on Friday, August 1st, 2025 at 5 pm Eastern.
